Creamy Taco Sauce

This creamy taco sauce is a quick dipping sauce you can stir together in minutes. It's smooth with a little tang and works with tacos, burritos, fish tacos, taco salads, and nachos. Make a double batch and keep it in the fridge to use all week.

Creamy taco sauce is made with sour cream, mayo, lime juice, and Sriracha. Mix everything in a bowl, adjust to taste, and use as a dipping sauce or drizzle over tacos, burritos, and nachos.

Ingredients

Makes 4 servings

  • ¼ cup sour cream 
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise 
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice 
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 1-2 tablespoons Sriracha 
  • ½ teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • Kosher salt to taste

How To Make Creamy Taco Sauce

  • Add sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic powder, Sriracha, and sugar to a medium bowl.
  • Whisk until smooth.
  • Taste and season with kosher salt. Adjust with more lime juice or Sriracha if needed.

Serving

Use as a dipping sauce or drizzle over tacos, burritos, taco salads, and nachos.
