    Phase 1 Appetizers

Kaufmann Diet Phase 1 appetizers are delicious bites of food served before the main course. From finger food to luscious dips, we have recipes for all-natural appetizers that are quick and easy to prepare.

These appetizers are free from wheat, soy, corn, peanuts, added sugar, yeast, and processed ingredients.

They're healthy with many vegan options, and you're going to love them.

Our favorite Phase 1 appetizers include Roasted Baby Eggplant Poppers and Baked Coconut Shrimp with Mango Dipping Sauce. In Phase 1, go easy on the mango sauce.

Our most popular appetizer, Pico de Gallo with Faux Corn Chips, is a great alternative to corn chips, which are not permitted on the Phase 1 Diet. Pico de gallo is made the traditional way: raw tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, cilantro, and garlic. It is seasoned with lime juice, pink salt, and pepper.

Faux corn chips, a low carb chip, are made from wedges of bell peppers cut to resemble corn chips. Corn tortilla chips are off-limits on the Phase One Diet for they could be loaded with mycotoxins (mold). You don't need that!

Be sure to sign up for our newsletter and follow along as we continue sharing delicious and nutritious Kaufmann Diet Phase 1 appetizers in the coming weeks!
