Hi! I'm Felice, a recipe developer, and food photographer in Key Largo, Florida.
My recipes are all easy to prepare. I believe a diet of unprocessed foods is the key to good health.

I’m a former New Yorker and I’ve been loving life in paradise! The 120-mile-long stretch of subtropical islands is rich in natural beauty, historical sites, and the best scuba diving in the United States. Living in Key Largo, each day is a blessing.
Currently, I work as a food broker for emerging natural food brands. I've been in the grocery business for many years, and I get to be a part of the manufacturing and distribution processes of many brands.
It’s fun, and I’ve gotten to meet a lot of great people along the way. I also get to taste many products that are new to the market, and I will be sharing them with you!

Growing up, my mom would always tell me to eat my vegetables and to stay away from sugar. But as I became an independent adult, my nutrition took a backseat. I was on a Standard American Diet, often called Everything in Moderation. I took probiotics and some vitamins here and there and thought I was in perfect health.
A GLUTEN-FREE DIET WAS JUST THE BEGINNING
Years ago, when I was working as a chef at Whole Foods, everyone was talking about the gluten-free diet. After years of denial, I tried the diet to see what all the hype was about. Much to my surprise, removing gluten from my diet improved my daily life tremendously.
The heavy, bloated feeling I used to get after eating disappeared. I learned that the less sugar I ate, the more energy I had. My digestion improved immensely, and I got to where I thought the whole world should be gluten-free and made everyone know it!

I was gluten-free for three solid years and then found out there was more. I changed courses again and removed most of the sugar from my diet and now follow the Kaufmann Diet.
