    Plant Based Milk

Sprouts Farmers Market in Homestead, Florida, has opened its southernmost store in Homestead, Florida. If you like to shop for high-quality, healthy food at affordable prices, you're going to love this store. It is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm. Sprouts is located on Campbell Drive in the Kohl's shopping center, right off the Florida Turnpike at Exit 2.

    Heading to the Keys?

Before you get on the stretch, the 18-mile road connecting Florida City to Key Largo, you can stop at Sprouts on Campbell Drive. They have a great selection of grab-and-go items as well as snacks. If you're trying to eat healthy, you know how difficult it can be to find healthy food options when you're on the go. Convenience stores are full of unhealthy processed foods, and it can be tempting to just grab something quick and easy.

Sprouts Farmers Market is a grocery store that specializes in healthy, natural foods. You can find everything from fresh produce to healthy prepared meals at Sprouts, making it easier to stick to your healthy eating routine.

The Best Things to Buy at Sprouts Market

    #1 Fresh Produce

Hands down, the best thing about Sprouts Market is the produce. About a quarter of the store is well-stocked with fresh produce. There is a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Everything is super fresh and the prices are lower than the popular grocery stores in our area.

    #2 Healthier Meats

Grass-Fed Meat and organic Chickens are abundant at Sprouts. There is a wide variety of grass-fed and pasture-raised meats, bacon, and sausage products that are made without nitrates, colors, and artificial fillers. Many of them are Paleo certified.

    #3 See What's Trending Section

The section called "See What's Trending" is right behind the flowers at the front of the store. It's a nice section where you could pick up some brand new products on the market. This week there are Banana plantain chips and they have keto maple syrup from the Wholesome Yum keto food blog. There is also plant-based Italian Sausage and Bolognese Sauce produced by Sprouts. The aisle is constantly changing to bring you their latest new brands.

#4 Plant-Based Items Are All Over The Store!

Besides the best produce in town, everywhere you look, Sprouts has plant based items. Whatever you're looking for, there is sure to be a plant-based or vegan option.

From ice cream to yogurt, cheese, and faux-meats, there are options for all of your favorite foods made of plants. Many of the brands have not hit the conventional grocery chains, so you're bound to find many new products to consider. If you buy something and you don't like it, bring it back for a full refund. No questions asked!

#5 Lots of Gluten Free Options

To the right of the front door of Sprouts, there is a refrigerator containing a vast selection of gluten-free and grain-free bread. When I worked at Whole Foods, people were begging us for a dedicated section of gluten-free bread. Well, it took a decade, but here it is.

If you're looking for grain-free and yeast-free bread, the tortillas are in the frozen aisle towards the back of the store. I got a package of Siete Almond Flour tortillas. They're Paleo approved and taste great! Try the Almond Flour variety!

    #6 Cleaner Groceries

If you like eating healthy food, you have many more options at Sprouts. Although some of the packaged foods are available at your local grocery store, all the unhealthy stuff is not clogging the aisles. You will quickly learn there are healthier alternatives to all the not-so-healthy foods you've been buying for years, and they taste just as good, if not better. If you look for Sprout's own brand, the savings are even greater.

Who doesn't love a good jerky? jerky is a portable snack that always tastes great! Sprouts has turkey jerky, grass-fed beef jerky, plant-based flavored jerky, salmon jerky, and lots of others. A lot of it is sugar-free! At Sprouts in Homestead, the jerky is next to the freezer on the right side of the store and next to the chocolate.

    #7 Supplements and Body Care

From vitamins to minerals and homeopathic remedies, Sprouts has you covered. Most of these items are not available at your major grocery stores.

Sprouts in Homestead has a great selection of collagen, probiotics, fish oils, and many brands of vitamins and minerals.

You can get natural soaps, hair color, skin creams and thousands of other products that are made with wholesome ingredients.

How Far is Sprouts Market from Key Largo?

Sprouts in Homestead is 20 miles from Key Largo and about a 25 minute drive on both the stretch and Card Sound Road.

Is Sprouts More Expensive Than Publix?

The produce is definitely less money than the Publix in Key Largo and there is more of a variety. I was expecting Sprouts to have higher grocery prices than Publix, but it seems like the groceries are right in line with one another.

    Stay Tuned for More

Since they opened three weeks ago, I have been to Sprouts in Homestead, FL about 4 times. If the store was in Key Largo, I'd be there every day. I like to shop for my dinner early in the morning because I don't enjoy freezing my food and I never buy in bulk.

Sprouts is a great market and I'm looking forward to many happy shopping trips there. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Check out Sprouts in Homestead today! You will be pleased with what you find. It's outstanding!
