I had the Seeds of The Day Toast. The toast is double-thick whole grain bread, smothered with almond butter, banana slices, oats, and seeds, and drizzled with honey.
Also, I had Coco Plum Signature Coffee, an almond milk latte with vanilla syrup, coffee. It is topped with blue Butterfly Pea Powder. Fabulous!
Other breakfast goodies include avocado toast, hummus toast, vegan breakfast bowls and burritos. Smoothies and smoothie bowls are made to order, and a selection of fresh cold-pressed juices is always available. The juices have no added sugar and they're amazing!
Gluten-free muffins and cookies are also available from a local certified gluten-free bakery.
Cocoplum Place has outdoor seating and is right next door to the Seaside Eatery.

For breakfast, the traditional American breakfast of bacon, eggs, oatmeal, and biscuits is always available at good prices.
You can also get Cuban specialties such as rice, beans, plantains, chorizo, and steak with your breakfast. Cuban bread is baked in-house every morning.
I had the Bistec Palomilla. Called the "Real Deal" on the menu, Bistec de Palomilla is a thin tenderized steak topped with onions. You can get it with or without eggs. It was really good! A junior portion of Palomilla is also on the kid's menu.
Eggs can be prepared any way you like them. On the side, you get a basket of homemade buttered Cuban bread. This is the lowest-priced breakfast in Key Largo at $3.99, not including coffee.
The Juice House also has Bistec Empanizado, a breaded Cuban-style steak. Locally caught fish is on the menu as well.
The Juice House has the best Cuban coffee! Order a cafe con leche--it's perfect every time!

For Classic American favorites, look no further than Mrs. Macs, a Key Largo institution since 1978. Fresh squeezed orange juice, buttermilk biscuits and gravy, and alligator sausage are all on the menu!
I had the famous Mac Attack. The Mac Attack includes 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, 2 sausage patties, 2 slices of French toast, and a serving of hash brown casserole.
Skip the maple syrup and order a side of maple bacon sauce, caramel sauce dotted with bacon, and maple syrup. This is a heavenly topping for your French toast or stack of pancakes!
Of course, you can get omelets, eggs, crepes, pancakes, and waffles, but you can also get a Crab Cake Benedict, big crab cakes made with sweet blue crab meat and topped with Hollandaise sauce.
And that's just breakfast! Mrs. Mac's is also open for lunch and dinner. Mrs. Mac's 2, a separate restaurant, is open for lunch and dinner. It is about ½ mile south of Mrs. Mac's Kitchen.

I had the Shrimp and Grits and it was extraordinary! A generous serving of seasoned grits is served with smoked chorizo, bacon, and jumbo Key West Pink Shrimp. I highly recommend this excellent dish for breakfast or lunch!
Harriette's also has jumbo biscuits with gravy, all kinds of eggs, and the famous build-your-own seafood omelet.
