Steamed Red Potatoes with Butter and Parsley is a simple and delicious side dish. Low-starch red potatoes are steamed in a steamer basket on the stovetop for an easy healthy side dish for chicken and fish dinners. Ready in 20 minutes!
Add 1 inch of water to a large pot and place a steamer basket inside. The water should sit just below the bottom of the basket.
Bring the water to a boil. Add the potatoes to the steamer basket, cover the pot, and return the water to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and steam for about 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
Carefully transfer the potatoes to a bowl. Toss with butter, salt, and freshly ground pepper while they are still warm. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Steam garlic cloves with the potatoes
