Air fryer snapper with veggies is an easy, high-protein meal that’s ready in no time. For the best texture, use thin white fish fillets like snapper or hogfish. The air fryer gives them a crispy, golden brown crust while keeping the inside tender and flaky. Serve with fresh vegetables like cauliflower or broccoli for a balanced, nutrient-packed dinner.
Trim the cauliflower and cut into bite-size pieces.
Add olive oil, ½ teaspoon salt, a few grinds of black pepper, and a big pinch of Old Bay to a large mixing bowl; whisk.
Add cauliflower and toss with tongs.
Pour the cauliflower into your air fryer basket.
Air fry at 390°F for 8 to 10 minutes, without overcrowding the basket.
Remove the cauliflower and set aside.
FOR THE FISH
Wash and pat dry the fish with paper towels. Season the fish with salt and pepper, Old Bay seasoning, and dot with cubes of butter.
Air fry at 390°F for 6-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
Serve cauliflower with fish. Garnish with chopped herbs such as parsley, basil, or cilantro. Serve with a lemon wedge.
Notes
This recipe is for a pound of fish. A serving size is 6 to 8 ounces meaning 2 hungry adults need one pound of snapper. If you are light eaters, a pound of fish will feed 3 people.Low-Sodium, recommendation If you're on a low-sodium diet, use Mrs. Dash's original flavor on both sides of the fish and skip the salt.Air fryer sheetsUse air-fryer sheets under the fish for easy cleanup. The sheets are perforated parchment paper made to fit the basket of your specific machine. Make sure you have food on all four corners of the paper to keep it from flying up.
